So me being from Baltimore, I see a lot of artists with potential on a regular basis.
Unfortunately though,
This area (DMV-B) as I like to call it
Has a lot of issues as far as people getting put on.

When I say artists, I mean ARTISTS.
Writers, Producers, Photographers, Rappers, Singers, etc.

It is my plan to start a site that will showcase and help artists from the DMV-B area
to connect with each other, learn from each other, and find out information on major labels as well as local labels that are looking for new talent.

Instead of competing and only the
Wale's or Tabi Bonney's or Bossman's or Mully Man's
getting their fair shake at fame, why not unite and help get everybody there?

Technology Tuesday // Skateboard Chassis x iPhone Update

This is the "E-Flex" concept base. It's also known as the skateboard chassis because of the way it will be built and the way the drivetrain will work.



This is one of the reasons I decided to stop pursuing the Automotive field two years ago. I know there will be technology that will make people obsolete. People can always cook food though...

See that red circle at the top? That would be Apple trying to make up for having the sorriest phone ever. The little dotted circle in the middle of the red one is a front-facing video camera. Apparently, they will be adding this on at some point in the future so that video conferencing and video calls will be able to be made. Another new feature that they will be adding is the morphing interface. If you are jogging or on a shaky bus, don't worry about hitting the wrong button anymore, they will get BIGGER so you don't miss.

That line right there, sends chills down my spine. That's how I feel about people sometimes.

Now multiply every bar in his songs times the effectiveness of that one... You have a bamboozle free mixtape. There is ONE hook on this mixtape. So for the sake of an argument, we will just say it is hook free. The point of this tape is to prove that lyrics are what matter. Hooks are just what they imply. They hook you into the song and reel you in. Once your there, you get stuck with bullshit lyrics and as he says himself, four lines in a song might be hot.

I only listen to intro tracks when I plan on doing a review, and I can honestly say that from the into to the outro, I didn't have to skip anything. Most people will give you two hot lines a verse... I can honestly say DizZy brought the heat on this tape. Every line MAKES SENSE (Wayne's don't) and he doesn't claim to be the king of hip-hop or any of the normal self-satisfying lyrical bullshit that other artists do.

True hip-hop is the only thing I pulled away from this. Oh, and better quotes than a Drake mixtape.

Jadakiss "The Last Kiss" // Album Review

Well, well, well... First and foremost, let me kick this off with a little bit of honesty. I have NEVER, and I mean NEVER, listened to an entire Jada album.

I started listening to this album with the expectation that the raspy voice and 'AHAA' would piss me off and therefore make me NEXT that shit. It actually didn't bother me that much and his lyrical content made up for the annoying ass ad-lib.

At first glance, it's a feature heavy album which normally means it won't be as good as an album with minimum features. I have to say, every collaboration that Jada did on this CD was FIRE. Everyone held their own weight and nobody got murdered on any tracks.

It's nice to see that not only did he make "club bangers" or "gangsta music" but, he showed every angle that he has as an artist. On "Who's Real" featuring Swizz Beats and OJ Da Juiceman, even mediocre ass OJ holds his own with the two greats. This will more than likely become a hit with people everywhere seeing as though we are all preoccupied with pointing out the phoneys (POINT EM OUT!!!) Now on "One More Step", Jada and Styles P are showing us why they have been around so long. It's nice to see the way they interact on the track... Almost like they can finish each others thoughts.

He even pays homage to one of the G.O.A.T., Biggie. On the track "Letter to B.I.G." with Faith Evans, Jada tells the legend what's been going on since he passed away. Things like the label deal, how the Lox ended up, just pretty much saying that the game is fucked up honestly.

I'm not going to spoil the show though. This will become a classic in about.... Oh.... 5 years? I don't think many people will give this album the credit it is due. Personally, if you have never been a Jada fan, this might just do the trick.

Nerd Time // Trains, And I'm Not Talking About Thomas!

I have some news on a new Obama venture that will (hopefully) be coming soon.

As you can see from the pic, this isn't your "Thomas the Train" ride. President Obama is planning to revitalize our train system throughout the country. I personally love riding trains because it's relaxing and saves me a headache of getting through traffic. So I was very happy to know that $8 Billion will be used to bring high speed trains to our country. Yes, these will be like those Japanese bullet trains you have been hearing about since I was about five. Not only will these trains help reduce traffic but, it will cut down on pollution of other kinds. Everyone knows that the Northeast part of the country (DC, New York, Baltimore, Philadelphia, etc.) uses trains more than anywhere else so hopefully, we will be the first to get sevice. It really doesn't matter though, seeing how we will have to wait until next year before anything happens.
