Technology Tuesday // Skateboard Chassis x iPhone Update

This is the "E-Flex" concept base. It's also known as the skateboard chassis because of the way it will be built and the way the drivetrain will work.



This is one of the reasons I decided to stop pursuing the Automotive field two years ago. I know there will be technology that will make people obsolete. People can always cook food though...

See that red circle at the top? That would be Apple trying to make up for having the sorriest phone ever. The little dotted circle in the middle of the red one is a front-facing video camera. Apparently, they will be adding this on at some point in the future so that video conferencing and video calls will be able to be made. Another new feature that they will be adding is the morphing interface. If you are jogging or on a shaky bus, don't worry about hitting the wrong button anymore, they will get BIGGER so you don't miss.

Comcast.

So everyday now, I find that Bravo, Travel Channel, and The Food Network
all decide to simultaneously stop working.
Now, while I was on Twitter and attempting to watch Bravo's "A-List Awards" the other night,
my cable started acting up.
I say "Fuckin Comcast" ONE TIME...
And @ComcastBonnie shows up.
Why is it that it took Twitter to fix my cable?
The shit should never fucking break if I don't ever touch the box.

Technology News // AT&T Is Tryna Dick Y'all!!!

AT&T has decided to change up their terms of service.
And yes, this actually does effect YOU (if YOU have AT&T... Lol)

"Downloading movies using P2P file-sharing services, customer-initiated redirection of television or other video or audio signals via any technology from a fixed location to a mobile device, Web broadcasting, and/or for the operation of servers, telemetry devices and/or Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition devices is prohibited."

Don't understand what that means? Let me break this down for ya!

YouTube, Slingbox, Peer 2 Peer (LimeWire & Such), etc... Are no longer allowed to be streamed on the 3G AT&T network!!!

Also, don't think they not tryna hit your pockets where it really hurts... Data plans.
Anybody who, like myself, transmits a lot of data... Will be in for a big surprise if they don't have an Unlimited Data Plan.

"On the 5GB DataConnect Plan, once you exceed your 5GB allowance you will be automatically charged $0.00048 per Kb for any data used. On the 200MB Data Connect Plan, once you exceed your 200MB allowance, you will be automatically charged $10 for an additional 100MB. Unused data from either your initial allowance or any overage allowance (e.g., the 100MB) will not be carried over to the next billing period; all data allowances must be used in the billing period in which the allowance is provided."

Don't know what that means either???

1. If you use the 5GB data plan, if you go over 5GB, you get charged 0.00048 cent per KB for anything you do using data.
   
2. If you use the 200MB data plan, they will automatically add 100MB more to your account, for a fee of $10.
   
3. Your data, different from your minutes, will not carry over.

Skype x Apple // Not Anytime Soon

Apparently, Apple isn't playing nicely with some of its competitors. Skype made an App for the iPhone but, Apple doesn't want it to get released.

On March 31, Skype's free "Skype for iPhone" application was supposed to made available for download through Apple's Application store. According to CNet News, Apple has blocked the application from being used on it's suck-ass 3G network. However, an advocacy group called the "Free Press" is calling on the FCC to make Apple allow the use of this and any other blocked application that has been created for the iPhone.
