Technology Tuesday // Skateboard Chassis x iPhone Update

This is the "E-Flex" concept base. It's also known as the skateboard chassis because of the way it will be built and the way the drivetrain will work.



This is one of the reasons I decided to stop pursuing the Automotive field two years ago. I know there will be technology that will make people obsolete. People can always cook food though...

See that red circle at the top? That would be Apple trying to make up for having the sorriest phone ever. The little dotted circle in the middle of the red one is a front-facing video camera. Apparently, they will be adding this on at some point in the future so that video conferencing and video calls will be able to be made. Another new feature that they will be adding is the morphing interface. If you are jogging or on a shaky bus, don't worry about hitting the wrong button anymore, they will get BIGGER so you don't miss.


Cool shit right? -Right.

The first thing I saw this morning when I got on the internet was this news story. Right now, I know I say fuck love a lot... Like a wholeeee lot but, this is what I hope to have one day.

"TROY, Kan. — Residents of a northeast Kansas town are mourning the deaths just hours apart of an elderly couple who were married 67 years. Arnita Yingling died in her sleep early Saturday at the family's home in Troy. She was 93. Six hours later her 95-year-old husband, Lyle, died at a nursing home in the nearby town of Wathena.

At their funeral Wednesday, friends and relatives described the two as inseparable. Some found comfort knowing neither would have to live without the other.

The Yinglings were married in 1941. Both were born on northeast Kansas farms and were active in Troy as members of their church and civic organizations."

Yeah, it's true. The legendary sports figure is hanging up his mic.
He, unlike the rest of us, is just realizing that it's time for him to quit. He cited his reasons for leaving the game alone because he is 73 and he wants to spend more time with his family. Best of luck to him and his family...

Andddddd I'm watching SportsCenter and they are saying that Kevin Garnett may miss the entire postseason because of his knee injury. Which blows me because I'm a HUGE Celtics fan. =[

R.I.P. Sandra Cantu // They Found Her Killer

On March 27, an eight year old girl named Sandra Cantu went missing.





April 7, they found her body stuffed inside of a suitcase in an irrigation pond. At the time they still did not have a killer.

At 11:55pm last night Melissa Huckaby, 28, was arrested in the murder and will be charged. She was the girls Sunday school teacher. She was also the granddaughter of the Pastor of the Clover Road Baptist Church where she taught Sunday school.

Apparently, she said enough to incriminate herself, letting police know that Sandra had been past her house the day she disappeared and telling them that her suitcase had been left in her driveway (fat chance bitch).

Loooong Weekend // Catching Up

So, it's been about 2 days since I wrote anything... I feel I just missed a week out of life or something!

Skype x Apple // Not Anytime Soon

Apparently, Apple isn't playing nicely with some of its competitors. Skype made an App for the iPhone but, Apple doesn't want it to get released.

On March 31, Skype's free "Skype for iPhone" application was supposed to made available for download through Apple's Application store. According to CNet News, Apple has blocked the application from being used on it's suck-ass 3G network. However, an advocacy group called the "Free Press" is calling on the FCC to make Apple allow the use of this and any other blocked application that has been created for the iPhone.
